There are a number of questions that I seem to get asked on almost a daily basis, so I’ve put them all in one convenient place, because that’s the kind of nice guy I am!
How do you say your surname?
Spelt phonetically it would be ‘Bof’ and sounds like cough (except with a B instead of a C obviously).
I’ve heard it said in a number of ways. Some are understandable. Others are just completely ridiculous.
What is ‘Thomas Baugh Media’?
Thomas Baugh Media is my personal website where I advertise the freelance services I offer and talk about website-marketing topics that interest me.
Hopefully it can also serve as a useful resource for people that want to learn more about online marketing or (dare I even say it) me.
I added ‘Media’ to the name of the site for two reasons:
1. I do a lot of internet related work and feel that ‘Media’ is a nice umbrella-term to cover everything.
2. Some blaggard already owns the domain ThomasBaugh.com (unbelievably).
Your Logo is sweet, where can I get one?
Good question.
The Thomas Baugh Media logo was created by my significant other, Jen, who is an incredibly talented designer. If you’re interested in commissioning her to design you a logo, banner or some other artwork for your website, then please get in touch with me via the contact form.
Do you really know what your talking about?
I’ve worked in online marketing for nearly 3 years in some shape or form, which might not seem a lot to some people. However, I think e-commerce is such a fast moving industry that online experience should be counted in much the same way as dog-years.
I’ve worked for Europe’s best website marketing agency, one of the leading SEOs and also taught myself a great deal through trial and error (as all the best people in the industry have) with my own websites.
There are people that probably know a lot more than I do, but then again there are people out there who market themselves as ‘experts’ and really haven’t got a clue.
