Thomas Baugh

When I’m not basking in a tropical paradise or explaining to people how to pronounce my surname, I’m invariably tinkering with something online.

Because online is what I do.

So whether you’re looking for someone to build you a website, write you a blog or get you shooting up the Google rankings in a jiffy, I’m more than likely the person you’ve been looking for.

The long story…

It was my combined obsession with writing and football that first brought me into the world of website development at the age of 14.

With the help of an IT-savvy neighbour I setup my first site (complete with spinning football clipart) to report on the 1998 World Cup.

Sportingpink.com didn’t last but it was enough to give me the taste.

Some seven years later, after finishing university with a degree in creative and professional writing, I picked up some freelance work, editing content for a sports injury website.

From this experience, I was able to get a job working for what was then Europe’s biggest search marketing agency.

Editorial Manager was a title significantly grander than the role itself, but during my time in the position I not only learned a great deal about paid search, but also began building and designing my own websites as well as taking on freelance SEO work.

After a year, I decided that SEO was the route I wanted to explore full-time, so I quit my job and setup on my own, which is what I’ve been doing ever since.

The sheer variety of projects I’ve been involved with over the last 5 years has enabled me to gather a great deal of knowledge on everything to do with websites and the internet.

I specialise in SEO and website marketing, but am also passionate about web design and anything that allows me to think creatively.

In short…

I am 27 years old and based in the West Midlands.

I am an online jack of all trades with experience in everything.

I am eternally optimistic.

I am unflinching in my support of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I watch a lot of films.

I drink far too many cups of tea.
